State of Texas COVID-19 Electricity Relief Program
(Apply Now – Enrollment Ends July 17)
If you or someone you know has recently filed for unemployment, they may qualify for the state’s electricity relief program that will help keep their power on. If you’re the primary account holder and receive SNAP or Medicaid, you’re automatically enrolled and do not need to apply.
The state of Texas has partnered with SOLIX to process all relief fund applications through the Texas Lifeline. If you call, you may experience long call wait times as agents work to serve all Texans in need of assistance. For more information, please see FAQs below.

Please contact us at (877) 282-6248 if you need more time to pay. We can work with you on a deferred payment plan. With a one-time down payment, you can spread your remaining balance over the next five months. As always, you can check your account and pay your bill anytime in MyAmbit Account.
Payment Assistance
If you or someone you know needs bill payment assistance, additional support is available by calling 2-1-1 or visiting 211texas.org and searching for ‘Electricity Bill Assistance’ to find programs in your area.

Independent Consultant COVID-19 Policy
As of March 18, 2020, we’ve directed all of our Independent Consultants in the U.S. and Canada to immediately halt all in-person marketing of the Ambit Opportunity to avoid unnecessary social contact. This includes performing any Business Presentations or in-person sales meetings at this time and remind you that not following emergency requirements can result in fines or even loss of the ability to sell electricity and/or natural gas. It’s critical that you also comply with any decrees or regulations enacted by national, state and local governments during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak.
We are closely monitoring the various emergency rules, laws and regulations developing to address this unique health issue and will do our best to keep you informed.
Independent Consultant COVID-19 Support
Even during this difficult time, the power of our company and Consultants means a bright future lies ahead. That means doing our part to help curb the spread of COVID-19. This includes:
-
Work - For both Consultants and employees, we are supporting social distancing practices like video conferencing, using email and social media and phone calls to conduct business. As you work your Ambit business, continue to comply with our ongoing prohibition against in-person marketing, as well as any decrees or regulations applicable to you.
-
Postponed Events - We have postponed the Massachusetts Power Rally and the Spring Five-Star Trip. While both of these were difficult decisions, we believe they were the right thing to do.
-
Future Events - While your health and well-being are our first priority, now more than ever, it’s important that we look to the future and enjoying each other’s company at events like AMBITION 2020. That’s why Ambit Energy events scheduled for later in the year, including AMBITION 2020, are still scheduled to take place as planned.
-
Powerful Resources - We continue to provide resources through PowerZone, Ambit U, the MyAmbitBusiness app, our social media channels and the Spark blog. We also encourage you to get involved in the #AmbitWorksTogether initiative to share your remote work business building tips with your fellow Consultants.
-
Watch for Updates - Ambit will continue to monitor the situation and will provide you with updates via email, app messages and PowerZone.
We know this global health crisis has caused great concern, anxiety and inconvenience, and your Ambit family is here to help. We thank you for your continued support and for your business as we work together to face this challenge.
